On March 5-9, the CRC will host a Hiring Expo for students interested in employment opportunities for the upcoming summer, fall, and spring semesters. We are looking for outstanding student employees in the following areas:

• Member Services
• ORGT’s Wilderness Outpost and Climbing Wall
• Facilities Assistants
• Fitness Center Attendants
• Personal Trainers
• Lifeguards
• Intramural Officials
• Summer Camp Counselors

Working at the CRC is an incredible experience that teaches and develops transferable skills that can be very valuable to students before and after graduation.  Student employees are given great opportunities to meet new people, work as a team, and given leadership opportunities. The convenient hours of operation and central campus location make balancing school and work fairly easy.

As the CRC’s annual Hiring Expo is coming up, we wanted to contact your departments specifically to let you know of some GREAT part-time job/paid internship opportunities that may be of interest to the students you advise.

Currently, we have openings in both marketing and web/graphic design.

As a marketing assistant at the CRC, students will:

• Coordinate and assist in organization events
• Aid in developing marketing plans
• Design, compile, and distribute marketing materials
• Maintain website and digital/online marketing tools
• Write external and internal marketing documents
• Manage event related databases
• Maintain social media

As a web/graphic design assistant at the CRC, students will:

• Design promotional items (T-shirts, trade show giveaways), building signage, brochures, banners, fliers, posters, direct mailers
• Design written collateral
• Design the CRC Semester Program Guide
• Must have advanced knowledge of Adobe CS3 Design Suite or higher
• Be familiar with HTML, PHP, Java
• Knowledge of CSS is a plus
• Must present portfolio of print/graphic designs
